I am an independent contractor in a hair salon. I need a system to help me track my inventory and sales taxes. This system has everything I was looking for. I purchased a little cash register and Im thinking hard about returning it.
I run a custom letterpress shop with inventory in multiple stores and online sales. This app allows me to manage all of my products easily.
I havent used this app a lot, but from the amount I have, it is awesome
I would highly recommend this to small business owners. Keeps track of all inventory, lets you know when to reorder, highlights best/worst selling items. Very user friendly. Love the sales feature that automatically updates stock levels. Big thumbs up in my world!
The developer has created a very stable and full featured inventory system for a home based business. I highly recommend this app. We appreciate the developer continuing to improve the software and is responsive to support and request emails. A lot of attention has been given to a lot of small details that make this app really effective. Face it. Inventory control is not a glamorous app and you want/need it to be uncomplicated but meaningful. This app covers all the bases. We spent a lot of time reviewing inventory apps and feel this app is the most full featured and priced very reasonably. If you run a home based business you will appreciate that you have different needs than retail or manufacturing. We are extremely pleased that On Shelf fills our needs /almost exactly.
I like simplicity of this app, yet stores lots of useful informations about my products. I really like it as a good tool for my small business. However, I share my ipad at home and therefore would like to use the passcode option in order to protect my entries; but when I use and once I close the app, I need to restart my Ipad in order for it to work. Kind of inconvenience, but still like this tool.
Some bad moments
Getting rid of this app. Always listing incorrect in stock values. Recent iTunes backup blew away all my inventory values. App is hit or miss calculating profit. Going to look for a better product.
This app is amazing. I have tried so many inventory apps and this is the only one I have liked. Its exactly what I needed. I sell Mary Kay and it works perfect for business owners who work with cosmetics.
The program seems to be very good and is exactly what I was looking for. Some additions like scanner and an option to insert buying price would make it even better.
I had been searching the app store for an inventory app that was easy to use. I decided to try this one after reading the review that another Mary Kay consultant left. This is perfect, easy to use. It took me about an hour or so to put all my inventory in...but it fulfills my purpose like a glove...I highly recommend to anyone who has a small home based business...I dont think it will do well for larger store businesses as it is very time consuming without an import feeature. Thanks for developing this and making it free!!! *PERFECT FOR MARY KAY*
I have tried many trial inventory apps but this is the best but I do wish that you can just scan in products, I hate having to enter everything manually.
Works great!!! I have an appliance repair service and this app makes it very easy to keep parts inventory well stocked but not overstocked.thanks! Made my life a lot easier!!!!!!!!!
