I am an independent contractor in a hair salon. I need a system to help me track my inventory and sales taxes. This system has everything I was looking for. I purchased a little cash register and Im thinking hard about returning it.

I run a custom letterpress shop with inventory in multiple stores and online sales. This app allows me to manage all of my products easily.

I havent used this app a lot, but from the amount I have, it is awesome

I would highly recommend this to small business owners. Keeps track of all inventory, lets you know when to reorder, highlights best/worst selling items. Very user friendly. Love the sales feature that automatically updates stock levels. Big thumbs up in my world!

The developer has created a very stable and full featured inventory system for a home based business. I highly recommend this app. We appreciate the developer continuing to improve the software and is responsive to support and request emails. A lot of attention has been given to a lot of small details that make this app really effective. Face it. Inventory control is not a glamorous app and you want/need it to be uncomplicated but meaningful. This app covers all the bases. We spent a lot of time reviewing inventory apps and feel this app is the most full featured and priced very reasonably. If you run a home based business you will appreciate that you have different needs than retail or manufacturing. We are extremely pleased that On Shelf fills our needs /almost exactly.

Getting rid of this app. Always listing incorrect in stock values. Recent iTunes backup blew away all my inventory values. App is hit or miss calculating profit. Going to look for a better product.

I like simplicity of this app, yet stores lots of useful informations about my products. I really like it as a good tool for my small business. However, I share my ipad at home and therefore would like to use the passcode option in order to protect my entries; but when I use and once I close the app, I need to restart my Ipad in order for it to work. Kind of inconvenience, but still like this tool.

This app is amazing. I have tried so many inventory apps and this is the only one I have liked. Its exactly what I needed. I sell Mary Kay and it works perfect for business owners who work with cosmetics.

The program seems to be very good and is exactly what I was looking for. Some additions like scanner and an option to insert buying price would make it even better.

I had been searching the app store for an inventory app that was easy to use. I decided to try this one after reading the review that another Mary Kay consultant left. This is perfect, easy to use. It took me about an hour or so to put all my inventory in...but it fulfills my purpose like a glove...I highly recommend to anyone who has a small home based business...I dont think it will do well for larger store businesses as it is very time consuming without an import feeature. Thanks for developing this and making it free!!! *PERFECT FOR MARY KAY*

I have tried many trial inventory apps but this is the best but I do wish that you can just scan in products, I hate having to enter everything manually.

I have tried so many apps before this one. Frankly I didnt expect it to work until I figured that it did exactly what it said it was going to do and also what I needed it to do.........Except for one thing. I sell handbags and I really needed to have a handle so to speak on my inventory of purses. It was easy to figure out and when after entering all the items in my inventory I could not get a total tally, I wrote an email asking the developer about it. Somebody responded immediately and explained that if I email the inventory to myself the app automatically add the total number of items in the inventory. I was able to get it that way. A little bit awkward I thought to myself, disappointed that such a great tool did not offer a feature that should have been an integral part of an inventory app because whenever youre adding, you want to know what you end up with. For that reason Im holding on to one star for when that feature is added, hopefully soon in their next update. I give it four stars. Good job and thank you miss or mister Developer.

Great tool for inventory a plus would be to add a feature to keep up with your business receipts.

I love this app so far its very helpful. The only thing I wish it could do is share with multiple devices. When it does that it will be perfect.

I had been looking around for an app that would help with keeping my lounge inventory straight. As I have many different kinds of alcohol on the shelves, and these are delivered by several different suppliers this app was perfect. The ability to view the bestworst selling bottles is fantastic. The ease of ordering these alcohols has even been noticed by the reps that come in as I have everything ready for them when they walk in. My only wish is that it showed the percentage difference between the retail and cost on the product database screen. Beyond that, this app has saved me loads of time and is incredibly easy to use. Great job on this app!!!

I have tried many inventory apps for our business and feel this one is the best! I wished there was a version for the iPhone but for now the iPad will do. It has all the options I need...except I wish I could scan our products sku numbers and then it would be perfect! Thanks!

I love how easy is to set all my inventory and check the levels of it. I hope you add iCloud support and iPhone. Also give layout choices!
